 From your earth to your kitchen... All boards are made from cut down hardwood trees in New York's lower Hudson Valley.  All trees are then hauled to our sawmill in PA where they are milled and dried for 1 year before being selected for use. After selection they are jointed, planed and sanded sometimes all the way up to 1200 grit depending on the customization. Customization usually begins with routering, drilling, grinding and glue-ups.  It is then followed up with a variety of inlays which include 9mm Speer Gold Dot NYPD fired shell casings, Speer Gold Dot 45 caliber shell casings, chili peppers, cherries, bowties and pigmented epoxy. Our boards can be outfitted with real horseshoe handles that care custom forged by Cody Ironworks Blacksmithing in Wyoming, USA. Finally, they are finished in either a 24-hour oil submerge and then sealed with Howard Butcher Block Conditioner or hand sealed using Odies Oil. All boards are proudly... MADE IN THE USA!
